FUGA\u2019s provides content management, workflow and distribution services to music companies, delivering to more than 260 digital service providers globally.<\/p>\n

Its client base of over 500 customers covers distributors, record labels, artist services companies and other rights holders.<\/p>\n

The company was founded in Amsterdam \u2013 where it remains headquartered \u2013 in 2006.<\/p>\n

In October 2017, FUGA announced the raise<\/a> of $7 million in investment from its shareholders.<\/p>\n

In March 2018, FUGA announced a global expandion with<\/span><\/a>\u00a0hires in London, Milan and New York, two new offices and a series of additional clients.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside its existing offices in Amsterdam and New York, FUGA opened premises in London\u2019s Tileyard Studios and Milan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acquisition by Downtown Music Holdings<\/h6>\n

In January 2020, Downtown Music Holdings announced its acquisition of FUGA.<\/a><\/p>\n

Downtown said that, with the addition of FUGA, it now managed more than 20 million copyrights worldwide with global operations in 19 cities across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.<\/p>\n

FUGA continue to function as a standalone business within Downtown\u2019s suite of distribution and monetization offerings.<\/p>\n
