Ali Tamposi is a Grammy-nominated songwriter, who has written for top artists such as Selena Gomez, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, among many others.<\/p>\n
Her journey to music industry success accelerated when a song originally written by her, Save The Hero<\/em>, found its way into Beyonce\u2019s hands, and ended up<\/a> on the superstar’s I Am… Sacha Fierce<\/em>\u00a0album.<\/p>\n Some of Tamposi’s biggest hits include Stronger (What Doesn\u2019t Kill You)<\/em> by Kelly Clarkson<\/a>, Havana<\/em> by Camila Cabello, Youngblood<\/em> by 5 Seconds of Summer, and Midnight Sky<\/em> by Miley Cyrus<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tamposi has also written on songs for DJ Snake \/ Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Ciara, Demi Lovato, Gary Clark Jr., Nickelback, and One Direction.<\/p>\n “honesty always wins; write as you and be true to you.”<\/p>\n Ali Tamposi on songwriting<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Having grown up in South Florida, Tamposi graduated from the Miami campus of SAE (School of Audio Engineering)<\/a> and acquired certification in Production and Audio Engineering.<\/p>\n Tamposi left Florida aged just 20, to pursue a career in Los Angeles as a songwriter.<\/p>\n She told Music Business Worldwide<\/a> in 2018 that her advice for other songwriters would be: “There\u2019s power in collaboration. And honesty always wins; write as you and be true to you.”<\/p>\n Ali Tamposi’s talent was discovered when se was 14 years old by Marty Cintron, vocalist for the group No Mercy.<\/p>\n Cintron introduced Tamposi to Grammy-winning producer Frank Farian, who signed her as an artist<\/a> to his AME record label.<\/p>\n It was recording to for Farian’s label that Tamposi met producer, Jim Jonsin, who signed her to his Rebel Rock company as a singer-songwriter.<\/p>\n It was Tamposi’s collaboration with Jonsin and Rico Love that led to the creation of the track Save The Hero, as included on Beyonc\u00e9’s I Am… Sasha Fierce<\/em> album in 2009.<\/p>\n In November 2017, New York-based music publisher Reservoir announced<\/a> that it had extended its publishing agreement<\/a> with Ali Tamposi.<\/p>\n Reservoir had represented Tamposi and her publishing rights since January of that year.<\/p>\n “Reservoir have been a vital part of my career this year and I am eternally grateful to be continuing our journey together.”<\/p>\n Ali Tamposi, speaking in 2017<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n At the time, Ali Tamposi said: “I couldn\u2019t be more excited to continue to grow with the Reservoir family.
