The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has admitted Hipgnosis Songs Fund to the Premium Segment<\/a> of the Official List.<\/p>\n

The Merck Mercuriadis-founded company visited the LSE on Friday (November 15) with Nile Rogers – a board member the company\u2019s investment adviser The Family (Music) Limited –<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to celebrate its admission to the Premium Segment, and its completion of four equity fundraises since its launch in June 2018.<\/p>\n

Hipgnosis Songs Fund allows investors to benefit from all the revenue streams that songs deliver from streaming to being used on TV, ads and movies.<\/p>\n

Since its IPO last summer<\/a>, Hipgnosis has acquired stakes in song catalogs created by the likes of\u00a0Giorgio Tuinfort (David Guetta)<\/a>,\u00a0Teddy Geiger (Shawn Mendes)<\/a>,\u00a0The-Dream (Justin Bieber, Rihanna)<\/a>,\u00a0Poo Bear (Chris Brown, Justin Bieber)<\/a>,\u00a0Itaal Shur (Santana)<\/a>,\u00a0Bernard Edwards (Chic)<\/a>,\u00a0Tricky Stewart (Rihanna, Beyonc\u00e9),\u00a0<\/a>TMS (Jess Glynne, Little Mix),<\/a>\u00a0The Chainsmokers\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Benny Blanco<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hipgnosis has also recently\u00a0bought up rights to No.1 songs<\/a>\u00a0such as Yeah by Usher, Check On It by Beyonc\u00e9, We Belong Together by Mariah Carey and Be Without You by Mary J. Blige, and\u00a0snapped up<\/a>\u00a0a music catalog from American songwriter, producer and singer Brittany Hazzard, aka\u00a0Starrah<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The company has raised<\/a> over \u00a3625 million of equity capital since IPO and has acquired some of the biggest songs released over the last 50 years.<\/p>\n
