TuneCore says the program helped facilitate<b> 15 billion <\/b>track discoveries, with<b> 515,000 <\/b>independent artists currently enrolled. That\u2019s up from <b>450,000<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/tunecore-says-that-tracks-within-its-accelerator-platform-clocked-21bn-streams-in-2024-as-number-of-artists-on-the-program-nears-450000\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported a year ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">TuneCore Accelerator\u00a0runs on proprietary catalog optimization technology developed by <b>Believe<\/b>. TuneCore attributed the improvement to the continuous refinement of\u00a0the program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The report comes amid the increasingly saturated streaming landscape for independent artists. While simply releasing music no longer guarantees that it will be heard, the fourth installment of the TuneCore Accelerator report shows that TuneCore continues to provide the resources necessary for artists who are ready to grow their audience to stand out in a sea of releases, find listeners, increase their streams, and build sustainable, long-term careers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The data showed that more than <b>14,000<\/b> artists earned streaming royalties for the first time through Accelerator, and another <b>14,000<\/b> crossed <b>1<\/b> <b>million<\/b> streams. A total of <b>500<\/b> artists surpassed <b>100<\/b> <b>million<\/b> streams and nearly <b>25%<\/b> of artists who hit those milestones attributed at least half their total streams to the program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">TuneCore also reported back catalog data, with tracks released more than 18 months ago generating <b>24% <\/b>or more revenue than releases not in the Accelerator program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Geographically, Mexico posted the sharpest growth among key markets at <b>63%<\/b>, followed by Brazil at <b>35%<\/b> and the US at <b>33%<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The report also included case studies that show how Accelerator works across different career stages.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">      <div class=\"mb-advert__incontent\">      <div class=\"mb-advert mb-advert__spu\" data-loaded=\"no\" data-name=\"300x250 Sponsor MPU #1\" data-params=\"dfp_spu1\" id=\"dfp_spu1\"><\/div>      <\/div>      <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Houston rapper<b> Bfb Da Packman <\/b>saw more than <b>20 million <\/b>additional streams over the past year from <b>69<\/b> activated tracks. His track<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/3mBTb8ksz449zMDg047DKK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i> Syrup Damage <\/i><\/a>generated <b>1.9 million <\/b>streams directly attributed to the program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Bfb Da Packman said: \u201cMan, TuneCore helped me stay independent for real. Getting my money fast kept my whole grind funded, and they&#8217;ve been a big part of helping my songs catch fire online.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bfb Da Packman<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">Latin electronica pop artist <b>Elsa y Elmar<\/b>, who had opened for Coldplay and received two Latin Grammy nominations, saw TuneCore Accelerator account for <b>44%<\/b> of streams on her track <i><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/0NDZTKw6MgExSektZolu8S\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grecia<\/a>, <\/i>which has <b>66 million <\/b>total plays on Spotify, and <b>50%<\/b> of streams on<i><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/intl-es\/track\/6ovwqC4WCPfDdCSpNzQ6UW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Planeando El Tiempo<\/a>, <\/i>which generated <b>64 million <\/b>Spotify streams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She has since been signed by Believe directly.
