Udio has since reached settlements with both\u00a0<a class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/universal-music-settles-udio-lawsuit-strikes-deal-for-licensed-ai-music-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universal Music Group<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/warner-music-settles-udio-lawsuit-strikes-licensing-deal-with-ai-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Warner Music Group<\/a>, signing licensing agreements with each for a new AI music platform expected to launch this year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/warner-music-group-settles-with-suno-strikes-first-of-its-kind-deal-with-ai-song-generator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Warner Music Group<\/a> settled with Suno in November, but the AI company remains locked in legal battles with <strong>Universal Music Group<\/strong> and <strong>Sony<\/strong> <strong>Music<\/strong> <strong>Entertainment<\/strong>, as well as European music rights organizations, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/suno-sued-again-as-danish-cmo-koda-accuses-company-of-stealing-its-members-music-to-train-ai-model\/\">Denmark&#8217;s Koda<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/500m-valued-suno-hit-with-new-copyright-lawsuit-from-germanys-gema\/\">Germany&#8217;s GEMA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The open letter published by the group of artist reps earlier this week also waded into the ongoing debate over so-called &#8220;walled gardens&#8221;
