Atlantic Music Group has entered into a joint venture with Today Is Vintage, the indie label founded by Swedish music executive, artist, and entrepreneur, Rebin Shah.<\/p>\n

Founded in Sweden and headquartered in New York, Today Is Vintage<\/strong> operates with staff based in Stockholm, London, and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Shah, Monday’s (February 23) announcement noted, “has managed platinum-selling artists and Grammy-winning producers”. He has also served as Creative Director for c, founded by Queen Silvia of Sweden.<\/p>\n

Led by Rebin Shah<\/strong> with partner Dave Gordon<\/strong>, Today Is Vintage has “supported releases with over 20 billion<\/strong> streams, more than 80<\/strong> gold and platinum certifications worldwide, and numerous awards in the Nordics,” the press release added.<\/p>\n

Today Is Vintage also founded and produces The Cloud Sessions<\/strong>, an international songwriting camp in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden in Washington DC, Export Music Sweden, and the Consulate-General of Sweden in New York.<\/p>\n

Dave Gordon, meanwhile, most recently served as Head of Urban Sales and SVP of A&R at Warner<\/strong> Records<\/strong>, following a tenure at Columbia Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Atlantic Music Group said that its new JV with Today Is Vintage reflects AMG’s “continued strategy of aligning with distinctive label partners with international expertise and cross-market execution.”<\/p>\n

The JV marks the latest such deal for Atlantic Music Group.<\/p>\n

In September, the company entered into a joint venture with Limosa Nostra Records<\/a>, a label founded by artist, entrepreneur, and designer Ricky Hil.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere at AMG, last month, Kevin Weaver was promoted<\/a> to the newly created role of President, Atlantic Music Group.<\/p>\n

In December, Atlantic Music Group promoted<\/a> Dave Rocco to the newly created position of Chief Creative Officer.<\/p>\n

In November, Jeremy Vuernick was named<\/a> Executive Vice President, Atlantic Music Group (AMG), joining AMG\u2019s global leadership team.<\/p>\n
