Stat Of the Week is supported by\u00a0music data analytics firm\u00a0<a class=\"link-external\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/chartmetric.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Chartmetric<\/a>.\n<hr \/>\n<p>TikTok reports that its Add to Music App tool has now been used to save over<strong> 3 billion<\/strong> <strong>tracks<\/strong> to music streaming services.<\/p>\n<p>The feature launched in 2023\/2024 and lets the app&#8217;s users save tracks or albums they discover via TikTok on music streaming services.<\/p>\n<p>The feature is available for users of <strong>Amazon Music<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Apple Music,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Spotify<\/strong>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/tiktok-integrates-another-streaming-service-into-add-to-music-app-feature-with-anghami-partnership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anghami<\/a>,\u00a0 <a class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/tiktok-names-soundcloud-as-latest-streaming-app-partner-for-add-to-music-app-feature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SoundCloud<\/a>, <a class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/deezer-becomes-latest-streaming-service-to-integrate-tiktoks-add-to-music-app-feature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Deezer<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<a class=\"link-internal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/tiktok-partners-with-south-korean-streaming-service-melon-to-expand-add-to-music-app-feature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Melon<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0<strong>TIDAL.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2018Add to Music App\u2019 appears as an \u2018Add Song\u2019 button next to a track name at the bottom of a TikTok video in the For You feed.<\/p>\n<p>TikTok revealed the stat this week within its Year in Music report. It now has over 1.1 billion streams on Spotify, alone.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"mb-embed-container\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/c8zq4kAn_O0?si=7IiSQQqZihVzwL4i\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The platform describes\u00a0<strong>Sombr<\/strong>\u00a0as &#8220;a true TikTok success story&#8221;, with\u00a0<em>Back to Friends<\/em> first going viral on the platform in early 2025, &#8220;fuelling its streaming explosion globally, and giving Sombr his first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He has also received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">Most-Saved Album on TikTok globally this year was Tate McRae&#8217;s <em>So Close To What,<\/em> released in February.
