At the time, Spotify noted that on average, nearly <b>70%<\/b>\u00a0of users who pre-save an album listen to it in week one.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">By the time it was released on April 19, 2024, the album became\u00a0the most-streamed record in a single day in 2024. It then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/taylor-swifts-the-tortured-poets-department-becomes-first-album-to-cross-300m-spotify-streams-in-a-single-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">became the first album<\/a> in Spotify history to cross the<b>\u00a0200 million<\/b>\u00a0<i>and<\/i>\u00a0<b>300 million<\/b>\u00a0stream mark in a single day. Just five days from its release, the album <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/taylor-swifts-the-tortured-poets-department-has-already-racked-up-over-1bn-streams-on-spotify-the-first-album-to-do-so-in-less-than-a-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">surpassed<\/a> <b>1 billion <\/b>streams on Spotify.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Spotify said it plans to increase transparency around its Countdown Pages by publishing daily pre-save counts for the top 10 pages globally. When an album officially releases, Spotify sends push notifications to users who pre-saved it, automatically adding the music to their libraries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Artists with at least <b>5,000<\/b> active listeners over the past<b> 28 days <\/b>can create Countdown Pages for upcoming albums or EPs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Swift has already revealed the full tracklist of her upcoming album, <i>The Life of a Showgirl, <\/i>last month.
