Scooter Braun has stepped away from his role as CEO of HYBE America.<\/p>\n

According to the official announcement on Tuesday (July 1), the exec will pursue new ventures, while taking on an executive advisory role as a director of HYBE\u2019s Board of Directors and Senior Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of HYBE.<\/p>\n

Isaac Lee, described as “a seasoned entertainment executive” who has been leading HYBE Latin America as Chairman since November of 2023, will become Chairman and CEO of HYBE Americas.<\/p>\n

Lee will have oversight of BMLG (Big\u202fMachine\u202fLabel\u202fGroup) in Nashville and QC Media Holdings in Atlanta, as well as remaining as Chairman of HYBE\u2019s Latin American operations in Mexico, Miami, and Medellin.<\/p>\n

According to the official announcement, Braun will formally hand over his day-to-day duties to Isaac Lee while continuing to support HYBE\u2019s business strategy and key decision-making “from a board-level perspective”.<\/p>\n

The press release added that this shift will “allow Braun to pursue other areas of strategic focus while remaining closely involved with HYBE\u2019s long-term vision as one of the company\u2019s largest individual shareholders”.<\/p>\n

Braun\u2019s transition from full-time artist management began in June 2021, following the strategic acquisition of his company, Ithaca Holdings, by South Korean entertainment powerhouse, HYBE.<\/p>\n

The entirety of Ithaca, including BMLG and Braun\u2019s SB Projects, was acquired by HYBE<\/a> in a $1.05 billion deal.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement issued on Tuesday (July 1), during his tenure as HYBE America CEO, Braun “provided key guidance for significant US acquisitions, seamlessly integrated top-tier talent and executives into the HYBE ecosystem, and established the foundation for the company\u2019s multi-label structure and IP-driven strategy within the Western market”.<\/p>\n

In February 2023, HYBE America, led by Scooter Braun,\u00a0acquired<\/span><\/a> Atlanta rap powerhouse QC Media Holdings, aka Quality Control<\/span><\/a>, in a deal worth $300 million,<\/b>\u00a0according to\u00a0Korean regulator filings.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Elsewhere at HYBE America, the company recently\u00a0acquired<\/a>\u00a0Confirmed360, a Santa Monica-based \u2018events concierge\u2019 company\u00a0Confirmed360<\/a>, which has been linked to arranging VIP experiences at concerts by superstars from\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0Justin Timberlake<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In September, it was reported that HYBE had acquired<\/a>\u00a0US public relations agency, The Agency Group PR LCC.<\/p>\n
