Of those artists, <strong>110,000<\/strong> have had songs selected to be promoted via Accelerator.<\/p>\n<p>TuneCore credits Accelerator with <strong>2.5 billion<\/strong> \u201cartist discoveries\u201d (the total number of times TuneCore Accelerator was the source of a listener discovering an artist) over the past year, and <strong>5.5 billion<\/strong> \u201ctrack discoveries\u201d (the total number of times Accelerator was the source of a listener discovering a track).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">      <div class=\"mb-advert__incontent\">      <div class=\"mb-advert mb-advert__tweeny hidden-xs hidden-ms hidden-sm\" data-loaded=\"no\" data-sizes=\"992 1200 1440\" data-name=\"628x90 Sponsor banner #5 (992+1200+1440)\" data-params=\"dfp_sponsor5_628\" id=\"dfp_sponsor5_628\"><\/div>      <div class=\"mb-advert mb-advert__banner mb-advert__banner--inline hidden-xs hidden-sm hidden-md hidden-lg\" data-loaded=\"no\" data-sizes=\"480\" data-name=\"468x60 Sponsor banner #5 (480)\" data-params=\"dfp_sponsor5_468\" id=\"dfp_sponsor5_468\"><\/div>      <div class=\"mb-advert mb-advert__mobile mb-advert__mobile--inline hidden-ms hidden-md hidden-lg\" data-loaded=\"no\" data-sizes=\"320 768\" data-name=\"300x50 Sponsor banner #5 (320+768)\" data-params=\"dfp_sponsor5_300\" id=\"dfp_sponsor5_300\"><\/div>      <\/div>      <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Launched in 2023, Accelerator was launched \u201cto help artists find new audiences and propel their fandom.\u201d It offers services such as promotion and marketing, and enables access to digital service provider (DSP) programs such as <strong>Spotify Discovery Mode<\/strong> and <strong>YouTube Creator Music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The program divides artists into four \u201cdevelopment plan segments\u201d:<\/p>\n<ul><li>START, for artists seeking their first listeners, provides services for tracks garnering less than 1,000 streams per year.<\/li><li>AMPLIFY, for emerging artists with tracks garnering 1,000 to 9,999 streams per year.<\/li><li>BREAK, for artists in the accelerating stage of their development (10,000 to 99,999 streams per year).<\/li><li>MAXIMIZE, the top stage of development, for tracks garnering 100,000 to 1 million-plus streams.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>TuneCore says one in five artists in the Accelerator program advanced to a higher segment over the past 12 months, with median royalties increasing <strong>five-fold<\/strong> for those artists.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">      <div class=\"mb-advert__incontent\">      <div class=\"mb-advert mb-advert__spu\" data-loaded=\"no\" data-name=\"300x250 Sponsor MPU #1\" data-params=\"dfp_spu1\" id=\"dfp_spu1\"><\/div>      <\/div>      <\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccelerator artists have seen a <strong>351%<\/strong> increase in streams on songs released more than 18 months before joining the program, significantly boosting their streaming royalties,\u201d TuneCore said. \u201cWe&#8217;re proving that great music can always tap into new audiences, no matter when it&#8217;s released.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of the latest report, TuneCore surveyed over 900 Accelerator participants to better understand their needs as artists<\/p>\n<p>The survey found that artists are prioritizing discovery and development of their creative skills while facing the challenge of breaking through the noise of a deluge of new music uploads. Since its launch in 2023, the platform has driven real, measurable growth, offering artists the resources necessary to amplify their reach and build a lasting fanbase.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As an example of Accelerator\u2019s utility to artists, TuneCore highlighted the career of Nashville-based country artist <strong>Alexandra Kay<\/strong>, a TuneCore member since 2015 who saw a <strong>152%<\/strong> lift in streams on participating platforms since joining Accelerator.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">      <div class=\"mb-advert__incontent\">      <div class=\"mb-advert mb-advert__spu\" data-loaded=\"no\" data-name=\"300x250 Sponsor MPU #2\" data-params=\"dfp_spu2\" id=\"dfp_spu2\"><\/div>      <\/div>      <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Of the <strong>100 million-plus<\/strong> streams she\u2019s racked up, <strong>12 million<\/strong> came via Accelerator, TuneCore said. Through the program Kay landed on more than <strong>60<\/strong> editorial playlists, driving some <strong>2.5 million<\/strong> streams.<\/p>\n<p>She was featured on <strong>Pandora<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cCountry Artists to Watch 2025\u201d list and was handpicked as one of six artists to launch <strong>TikTok<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cFan Spotlight\u201d initiative. Her debut album, <em>All I\u2019ve Ever Known<\/em>, reached No. 1 on the<strong> iTunes<\/strong> All Genre Album US chart.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;TuneCore has been instrumental in helping me build my career, from distributing my music to streaming platforms to helping me reach new audiences with TuneCore Accelerator, they have been with me through every step of my journey as an artist,\u201d Kay said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTuneCore Accelerator has directly increased my streaming numbers by millions, allowing me to find new listeners and helping to push <em>All I&#8217;ve Ever Known<\/em> to the top of the iTunes album charts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Every time I see a streaming report, I\u2019m always shocked by the number of people discovering my music through TuneCore Accelerator and I couldn\u2019t be more grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Janani K. Jha<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The report also highlighted the career of Canadian R&amp;B singer, songwriter, and producer <strong>K. Forest<\/strong>, who saw <strong>3.5 million<\/strong> new streams via Accelerator, and landed on more than <strong>50<\/strong> playlists.<\/p>\n<p>Also noted was <strong>Janani K. Jha<\/strong>, a California singer and songwriter who has clocked some <strong>3 million<\/strong> streams via Accelerator. The program accounts for one in five of Jha\u2019s streams on <strong>Spotify<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBetween including me in initiatives for women in music and cross-platform opportunities, I\u2019ve felt supported by TuneCore every step of the way,\u201d Jha said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTuneCore Accelerator has exceeded my expectations in introducing my music to new audiences. Every time I see a streaming report, I\u2019m always shocked by the number of people discovering my music through TuneCore Accelerator and I couldn\u2019t be more grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The report broke down Accelerator\u2019s streaming numbers by region and genre and found the largest increase in West and East Africa, with <strong>155%<\/strong> growth in streamed tracks over the past year. That was followed by Southeast Asia (up <strong>138%<\/strong>), Latin America (up <strong>88%<\/strong>), Germany (up <strong>74%<\/strong>), and India, up <strong>70%<\/strong>.
