{"id":191809,"date":"2024-01-25T20:29:18","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T20:29:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/?p=191809"},"modified":"2024-01-25T20:29:18","modified_gmt":"2024-01-25T20:29:18","slug":"ai-made-music-can-now-be-easily-uploaded-to-soundcloud-thanks-to-a-trio-of-new-deals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/ai-made-music-can-now-be-easily-uploaded-to-soundcloud-thanks-to-a-trio-of-new-deals\/","title":{"rendered":"AI-made music can now be easily uploaded to SoundCloud, thanks to a trio of new deals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The use of AI as a creative tool for making music has left the fringes of the music business and is quickly entering the mainstream.<\/p>\n<p>In November, Google-owned YouTube <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/welcome-to-the-future-ai-generated-vocal-clones-of-superstars-now-available-on-youtube-shorts-thanks-to-googles-most-advanced-music-generation-model-to-date\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched<\/a> a new &#8216;experiment&#8217; for Shorts called DreamTrack that lets creators produce music featuring the AI-generated voice and style of a few superstar artists including<strong>\u00a0Alec Benjamin, Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, John Legend, Sia, T-Pain, Troye Sivan\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0Papoose.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now SoundCloud has struck partnerships with three music technology companies to allow artists to directly upload songs created with AI tools to its platform.<\/p>\n<p>Those three companies are <strong>Fadr<\/strong>, <strong>Soundful<\/strong>, and <strong>Voice<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>Swap<\/strong>. He<a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/podcast\/i-have-seen-the-future-of-music-its-scary-and-utterly-brilliant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> told us<\/a>: &#8220;Soundful\u2019s mission is to empower every creator out there&#8230;This is about mass adoption. This is about empowering everybody to create music. Soundful is a tool for everybody to listen\u00a0<em>and<\/em> create.&#8221;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In addition, SoundCloud&#8217;s new AI creator partners include <a href=\"https:\/\/fadr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Fadr, <\/strong><\/a>a platform that features various AI music tools like an AI-powered vocal remover, song splitter, key\/tempo\/chords detector, remix maker, mashup maker.
